Policy On Disonour of Cheques/Failed

The "Cheque Return Memo" will accompany a cheque dishonoured / returned for any reason. It is a critical document, more so in case recourse to legal action is nececiated. Keeping inview the larger interests of customers and to ensure uniform practices, Bank will indicate the "date of return" in the Cheque Return Memo. Dishonoured instrument is returned / despatched to the customer promptly without delay on the same day but in any case within 24 hours.
